Fisher matched a career high in scoring on Wednesday after dropping 30 points in just 21 minutes of action in St. Francis Brooklyn’s hard-fought 53-52 defeat at Lafayette. The senior guard hit 10 field goals, including an NEC single-game high seven three-pointers. Fisher opened the game on a tear, making each of her first seven field goal attempts to rack up 18 points in the opening quarter. She is the second player in the NEC to eclipse the 30-point plateau this season, joining Stonehill’s Emily Bramanti, who tallied 38 earlier this month against Bryant. The Baton Rouge, LA native has scored 24-or-more points three times this season to lead all NEC players. Fisher has netted double figures in eight games this season and is fourth in the circuit in scoring with 14.9 points per game. This is her second NEC Player of the Week honor this season.
