Couture turned in a pair of top-three finishes and NEC-best times to pace the Warriors at the Beacon Invitational. The junior’s day was highlighted by a stellar performance in the 400m that saw him take top billing in the event with a time that is currently the eighth fastest in the nation (48.40). A native of Sherrill, NY, Couture also posted a third-place finish in the 200m after turning in the 26th-best time in the nation (21.89). This is Couture’s first NEC Track Athlete of the Week honor.
