Bramanti averaged 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a pair of games to become the first-ever Stonehill player to garner NEC Player of the Week honors. The graduate student began her week with a 13-point, five-rebound effort against Holy Cross on Thursday. Three days later she was virtually unstoppable in Stonehill’s win over Bryant. Going 13-of-19 from the field, including 6-of-8 from long range, Bramanti racked up a career-high 38 points. Coming just one point shy of matching the Skyhawks’ single-game scoring record, the 38 points are the most by an NEC player since Nov. 13, 2019, when Wagner’s Emilija Krista Grava had 45 against Saint Peter’s. After averaging 7.8 points over the first six games of the season, Bramanti has poured in 19.8 points per game in her past four outings. Scoring in double figures seven times, including each of the past four games, the local product from Chelmsford, MA leads the Skyhawks and is sixth in the circuit in scoring at 12.6 points per game.
