King made a big impression in his first-ever meet as a Division I athlete. The junior sprinter landed a trio of first-place finishes to pace the Skyhawks at the Suffolk Relays. Clocking in at 7.00 in the preliminaries of the 60m, King went on to bring that time down to 6.95 in the finals to earn first in the event. With that time being the best among NEC sprinters this season, the Norwood, MA native went on to replicate that effort in the 200m after taking first with a league-best time of 21.97. King also competed in the high jump, where he stuck a first-place finish after tying an NEC-best mark of 2.00m.
