Waters was named the MVP of the Wagner Seahawk Invite after helping St. Francis Brooklyn come away with three victories over the two-day stretch. The graduate student posted a 19.53 frame average with an 8.90 first ball score. Most impressively, Waters threw strikes on 50 percent of her frames to pace the circuit in the category. The Valparaiso, IN native’s game in traditional play was sensational, as she knocked down 1,094 total pins and averaged a 218.8 per game to lead all competitors. Included in that stretch was a career-best performance against Caldwell, where she racked up 273 pins in the victory. This is Waters’ first NEC Bowler of the Week accolade of the season.
