Policare, a Maryland transfer, remained unbeaten against conference rivals following a 6-3, 6-4 win over reigning NEC Player of the Year Sofiya Kuzina of LIU on Saturday. She also teamed with Adrian Barney for a 6-4 victory at #1 doubles in a competitive 4-2 setback to the four-time defending NEC champs. One day later in a 4-1 win over Saint Francis U, Policare went to three sets (6-2, 3-6, 3-3) in an unfinished contest against All-NEC second teamer Dominique Yeo and her doubles pairing with Barney resulted in a 6-4 win. The East Atlantic Beach, NY native is 3-0 this spring against NEC competition in singles play.
