Dancenco dispatched Quinnipiac junior and reigning MAAC Player of the Year Claire Koscielski in straight sets, winning 7-5, 6-4, at #2 singles to help lead the Sharks to a 4-0 win over the Bobcats on Sunday. The dominant victory came over a Quinnipiac team that has won 49 straight MAAC dual matches. Dancenco also teamed with Sofiya Kuzina for a 6-2 win at #1 doubles. The native of Chisinau, Moldova has won 11 singles matches in 2021-22 and she is 15-7 in her pairing with Kuzina.
