Rafter continues to dominate the NEC’s distance events this season. Entering the week boasting the top marks in both the mile and 3,000m, she made the most of her first running of the 5,000m this season, turning in an NEC-best time of 16:18.75 at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Her time, which ranks 60th in the nation, also shattered the CCSU’s previous school record (17:02.81). Rafter has won Track Athlete of the Week honors a league-best five times this season.
