Villagran was named NEC Swimmer of the Week for the second time after finishing first and second in the pool this weekend against Loyola (MD). The graduate student won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.40 seconds, the fastest time in the NEC last week. She also finished second in the 50 fly in 25.52 seconds, the league's best time of the week and season. Villagran was a member of the winning mixed 200-meter medley relay team, swimming the final leg.
