Snoddy followed in the footsteps of teammates Jayden Brown and Joe Ostrowsky as NEC Rookie of the Week recipients during the first month of the 2021-22 season. The swingman out of Melville, NY contributed 7.5 ppg and 3.0 rpg over two starts in CCSU’s split. He shot 45.5 percent from the floor and was a perfect 5-5 from the line. Snoddy converted four of his five field goal attempts on his way to a career-high 11-point outing, and came up huge down the stretch to help the Blue Devils trip up Holy Cross, 73-67, and win their first home game of the season last Wednesday. His layup with 57 seconds remaining increased CCSU’s lead to 68-63, and after a Crusader bucket, he calmly sank a pair of free throws with 32 seconds on the clock to push the lead back to five points.
