Wattara comes off a pair of impressive outings against high level competition last week for the Knights. Providing a spark off the bench, the Bronx, NY native averaged 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and shot 53.3 percent from the field. Wattara tied for team scoring and rebounding honors with 12 points and five boards in just 16 minutes at Northwestern on Thursday. He drained 5-8 shots from the floor. Two days later, he contributed eight points and three rebounds at St. John’s. Wattara leads all NEC true freshman with 6.7 ppg this season.
