Morland James opened his season with two individual victories to earn his first NEC Swimmer of the Week award. He posted the second fastest time in the conference in both the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:50.69 and 500 free with a time of 4:47.00. He placed first in both events in a tri-meet with visiting Manhattan and Saint Peter's.
