Week 8 Stats: 4 total tackles (2 solo), 1.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, forced fumble, PBU

Peprah’s pressure helped Sacred Heart hold Duquesne to seven total first downs and only 2.0 yards per pass attempt. The veteran defensive end was flying around to the tune of four tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass break-up in the Pioneers’ 31-13 conference victory at Campus Field. He broke up a pass on a 3rd-and-Goal play, limiting Duquesne to a field goal early in the second quarter. Later in the quarter, Peprah dropped the quarterback for a three-yard loss on 3rd-and-11 to force a punting situation. He denied the Dukes again in Pioneers’ territory late in the opening half, forcing a fumble that was recovered by Noel Hijazi at the SHU 40-yard line.  Peperah made back-to-back plays in the fourth quarter to force a three-and-out with the Pioneers holding a 31-13 advantage.
