Grant led the charge in the annual Nutmeg State rivalry game by gaining 211 yards from scrimmage and scoring three touchdowns for the triumphant Pioneers. The 5-foot-7 running back, who has been starting in place of injured Consensus All-American Julius Chestnut, rushed 29 times for 183 yards and three scores in the 27-17 victory over Central Connecticut. Grant also made a 28-yard reception to convert a 3rd-and-19 situation, bumping his scrimmage yards total over the 200 mark for the second week in a row. The Empire State product rushed for touchdowns (4, 15, 1) on three consecutive SHU possessions.
