Jr., FWD, 5-1, Morvant, Trinidad
Week 7 Stats: 2 starts, 4 points, 2 goals, Tying goal in win over Wagner
King delivered a key goal in each of LIU’s conference victories last week. The junior forward totaled four points on only two shots as the Sharks posted back-to-back 2-1 wins. King produced the equalizer in the second quarter of an eventual one-goal victory over Wagner, which slammed the brakes on LIU’s three-game slide. It was her first goal since a win over Georgetown on September 5. Two days later, King opened the scoring against defending NEC champion Rider. Cashing in off a penalty corner, the Trinidadian-born forward gave the Sharks in the third minute.
