Week 7 Stats: 2 starts, 1 shot, 2 team shutouts, 131-minute scoreless streak
Boyle and the Stags’ back line blanked a pair of Northeast Conference foes this past week, holding an active 131-minute scoreless streak. Locking up Rider’s all-NEC talent, Boyle and her mates limited the opponent to only three shots on goal in Friday’s 2-0 triumph. Rider was unable to put a single shot on cage until the fourth quarter. Boyle and the back line were even stingier in a 3-0 win over Sacred Heart. SHU managed only three shots against Boyle and her mates with none going on goal. Fairfield’s defensive staple has started all 13 games this season.
