Breaking the 300-yard barrier for the first time, the California-born quarterback went 29-of-41 passing for 316 yards and three touchdowns through the air. His 26-yard scoring strike to Davie Henderson erased a 34-33 deficit with 00:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. Perrantes also gained 38 yards on the ground, including a four-yard touchdown rush that tied the score at 14-14 with 9:22 left in the first half. His 354 yards of total offense are the most by a NEC athlete against a Division I opponent this season. Under Perrantes’ direction, the Dukes recorded 28 first downs (most in NEC game this season) while scoring at least four touchdowns for the fourth week in a row.
