Ayyoub earned his second consecutive NEC Rookie of the Week award and his first NEC Athlete of the Week honor following his performance at the Lehigh Paul Short Run on Friday. The freshman crossed the tape with a time of 24:57.5 in the men's 8K. He was 7th out of the 340 harriers and finished first for the Sharks.
