Perrantes’ first Duquesne start resulted in the program’s first-ever win over a FBS member. The sophomore signal caller engineered an offense that dominated time of possession and recorded 26 first downs in a 28-26 triumph over MAC member Ohio. He was responsible for both of the offense’s touchdowns, powering into the end zone on a third-quarter rush and completing a short pass over the middle to Joey Isabella on the first snap of the fourth quarter. Playing turnover-free football, Perrantes completed passes at a 67.6 percent clip while totaling 194 yards through the air. He connected with seven different receivers and suffered only one sack over the course of the afternoon in Athens. Perrantes and the Dukes converted 7-of-16 third-down situations and were 2-for-2 on fourth down while possessing the ball for 41:02.
