Fox won his third consecutive Northeast Conference start, logging his longest outing of the season in a 10-1 triumph over LIU. CCSU’s senior right-hander spun 8.0 innings of one-run ball to help the Blue Devils secure their fifth straight series victory. Taking the ball for the middle game against LIU, Fox scattered eight hits (six singles) and two walks while limiting the opposition to one late run. He blanked the Sharks on the scoreboard for the first 7.2 frames with a two-out eighth-inning single ending his shutout bid. Fox did not allow an extra-base hit over the final 5.0 innings. Following an LIU double to lead off the fourth frame, Fox retired the next 11 batters in a row.
