Starastsenka's second straight and third overall NEC Rookie of the Week honor this spring comes on the heels of a 6-4, 6-2 win at #3 singles over LIU's Victoria Erechtchenko. It marked the first setback of the year for the star LIU sophomore, while Starastsenka won for the fifth time in her last six matches. She also improved to 6-1 with doubles partner Ciara O'Toole following a 6-1 victory at #1 doubles. Starastsenka, who hails from Mogilev, Belarus, is 7-3 in singles play this year, including a 5-1 mark against league rivals.
