Dovland scored twice in the first half to spark the Sharks to a second straight 4-0 win, this one coming against Mount St. Mary's on Monday. The senior midfielder put the Sharks on the board in the 16th minute, settling a ball just outside the box before firing a low, left footed strike inside the right post. With just over eight minutes remaining in the half, Dovland pounced on a loose ball at midfield, then knifed his way through two defenders on a 50-yard run into the box, where he slid the ball past the oncoming Mount keeper. The Sharks improved to 3-1-2 in NEC play with the victory. Dovland is tied for the LIU lead with four goals on the year.
