Marsden led the Saint Francis pitching staff at Merrimack to four wins on the weekend including her first collegiate no-hitter in a 6-1 Friday win surrendering no earned runs and tying her season-high strikeouts (7). She followed with a complete game in a 4-1 win on Saturday, striking out a career-high nine batters while surrendering no walks. Against the Warriors, Marsden posted a 0.50 ERA through two complete games and gave up just one earned run on five hits, compared to 16 strikeouts. This season, Marsden has set career-bests in ERA (1.32), wins (8), appearances (13), starts (10), complete games (8), innings pitched (74.1), strikeouts (63) and opponents’ batting average (.191).
