Aaron was at the center of a defensive effort that propelled Long Island to its first victory as a Division I program. Helping bottle up Bryant’s offense to the tune of 3.8 yards per play, the veteran linebacker made a team-high 11 tackles and delivered an important Pick-6. Aaron made his presence felt during a first-quarter red zone possession. The 225-pounder snuffed out a screen pass on 2nd-and-Goal, dropping the Bryant receiver at the 6-yard line and forcing the Bulldogs into an unsuccessful field goal attempt two snaps later. Aaron found paydirt in the second quarter, corralling a tipped pass and returning it 35 yards to give LIU a 14-3 lead. Aaron made a key first-down hit early in the fourth quarter, dropping the ball carrier for a two-yard loss to knock the offense off schedule.
