Bresee made multi-faceted contributions to the four-win week that allowed Mount St. Mary’s to secure its first NEC regular season title since 2001. The do-it-all small forward accounted for 17.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals per victory. Bresee made her presence felt during the Mount’s two-game home-and-home sweep of second-place Saint Francis U. Totaling 44 points over the two wins, the Marylander shot 52.0 percent from the field and accounted for a 13-of-15 clip from the free throw line against the Red Flash. Powering the Mount to a 71-55 victory on the front end of the series, Bresee poured in 29 points and dished out seven assists in Sunday’s #NECWBB Wildcard Game on ESPN3. One day later, Bresee contributed 15 points and six rebounds to the Mountaineers’ 56-43 win in Loretto. Bresee nearly recorded back-to-back double-doubles during Mount’s two-game stay at Merrimack early last week. She flirted with a triple-double in a 79-65 victory, recording 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. One day later, Bresee tallied 11 points and nine caroms to help Mount survive in a 59-58 road win.
