Horvath enjoyed the most-productive four-game stretch to date in what has been a fruitful freshman season. She scored at least 17 points in each of SFBK’s four contests last week while connecting at 51.9 percent from the field. She also accounted for 7.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per start. Horvath set her career scoring high in the first of two games against FDU. The freshman’s 21 points in 26 minutes powered the Terriers to a 67-60 win. One day later, Horvath recorded a game-high 19 points in a 79-74 overtime defeat. The 5-foot-11 rookie closed the week by posting back-to-back double-doubles in a series split with first-place Saint Francis U. After tallying 17 points and 10 caroms in a one-point setback on Saturday, Horvath led the effort to stop Saint Francis U’s 11-game win streak on Sunday. Going up against a Red Flash team that owned a 9-0 record in conference contests, the first-year Terrier totaled a game-high 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds and two blocked shots in a 63-55 triumph.
