Tomasetti made her presence felt during Mount’s two-game series at Sacred Heart. The first-year Mountaineer, who had totaled seven points over her first five collegiate appearances, provided 10.0 points and 2.0 steals per outing at SHU. With efficient shooting at the forefront of her performance, Tomasetti made all but one of nine field goals attempts during the two-game sample. She tallied 12 points, two rebounds and two steals in Mount’s 84-60 victory on Thursday. One day later, Tomasetti went 4-for-4 from the field in a 79-71 setback. With Tomasetti’s selection, women from five different programs have earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors through the season’s first six seeks.
