Following a promising freshman campaign, Thomas has emerged as an elite scorer for the Pioneers, who come off their third straight NEC split last week. The 6’3” guard caught fire in two games at Merrimack, averaging 29.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per outing. He drained 11 shots from downtown at a 42.3 percent clip, and also made 81.3 percent of his opportunities at the stripe. One day later, he finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a 68-62 win. Thomas, who averaged 5.6 ppg a year ago, is second in the league with 19.8 ppg and 3.33 triples per contest.
