Schneider paced the circuit in slugging percentage (1.083) last week while homering in each of Wagner’s two wins. The outfielder batted .500 (6-for-12) with three extra-base hits, five RBI and three runs scored. Following a 1-for-3 day in a mid-week setback to Big Ten member Rutgers, Schneider went deep in each of his next two appearances. After pinch-hitting in the seventh inning in Friday’s battle with William & Mary, the 6-foot-1 senior delivered the game-winning blow in the ninth. Schneider blasted a two-out, three-run home run over the leftfield fence to turn a 4-2 deficit into a 5-4 advantage. He went 4-for-4 with two extra-base hits in a come-from-behind win over A-10 member Richmond the following day. Schneider’s provided the Wagner bullpen with some breathing room, blasting a two-run, seventh-inning homer that capped the scoring in the 9-6 triumph.
