WEEK 8 Stats: 3 total tackles, 2 INT, Pass break-up
Harrison-Ducros intercepted the NEC’s leading passer twice during Duquesne’s 20-6 road win over Sacred Heart. With the Dukes’ defense limiting SHU to its lowest point total of the season, Harrison-Ducros totaled three tackles and added a PBU. The veteran cornerback and his fellow Dukes became the first unit to hold an opponent under 100 yards passing in a NEC game this season. Setting the tone early, Harrison-Ducros made three straight first-quarter plays capped by an interception. First, he stopped a wide receiver rush after a short three-yard gain. On second down, he broke up a well-timed slant pass. Then, he picked off an errant throw at the SHU 49 and set the Dukes up with a 1st-and-10 in plus territory. With Duquesne protecting a 17-6 lead, Harrison-Ducros intercepted another third-down pass late in the third quarter.
