Alexander-Stevens engineered a 24-14 home win while making his Northeast Conference debut. Going up against NEC newcomer LIU, the graduate transfer accounted for all three of Wagner’s touchdowns and passed for a season-high 267 yards. He completed 75.0 percent of his pass attempts while playing turnover-free football. Alexander-Stevens opened the scoring 4:57 into the game when he hooked up with Josh DeCambre for a 6-yard touchdown pass. The 6-foot-3 signal caller called his own number twice in the second quarter, rushing for two touchdowns as Wagner took a 24-7 lead into the break. Alexander-Stevens completed all six of his fourth-quarter pass attempts, helping the Seahawks finish off the victory.
