Rauff made for an unforgettable week that started with an appearance on SportsCenter and ended with a fourth-quarter game-winner. The first-year Bulldog provided the equalizer in the 50th minute of last Tuesday’s tilt at Holy Cross, creating an awe-inspiring highlight in the process. Using her stick to dribble the ball in mid-air, Rauff moved around the defense and blasted it past the goalie for the No. 5 play on ESPN’s daily Top 10. After being held scoreless during Friday’s setback to New Hampshire, the freshman forward allowed Bryant to break into the win column on Sunday. Her unassisted tally broke a 1-1 tie in the 52nd minute against Lehigh, providing the difference in the 2-1 triumph.
