Rosen has been a stalwart in the cage during Fairfield’s current seven-game win streak. The junior goalkeeper earned two more victories last week against a pair of prime opponents, allowing only one goal over 120:00 of action. First, she posted a shutout against Ivy League member Columbia, which was coming off back-to-back top-25 wins. Rosen needed to make only one save to log her third shutout win of the season. Two days later, Rosen protected the cage for a 2-1 win over Big East member Providence. The Garden State product, who made seven saves in the victory, stood tall during a fourth-quarter barrage. Protecting the Stags’ 2-1 lead, Rosen made six stop over the final 15:00.
