Jr., GK, 5-5, Brasschaat, Belgium
Vandam worked extra time to secure her first victory of the season. Rider’s junior goalkeeper registered seven saves to finish on the winning side of a 2-1 double-overtime affair against Atlantic 10 member LaSalle. Vandam turned away two shots, both coming on penalty corners, during the first 10-minute overtime period. The Belgian-born Bronc, who has surrendered only two goals over 131:41 of cage time this season, has recorded at least six saves during each of her past five appearances dating back to last year. LaSalle’s lone goal off Vandam came on a penalty stroke.
