The 2019 NEC Indoor triple jump champion has made himself the early-season favorite for the outdoor crown. Contesting the Adidas Winthrop University Invitational, O’Garro hit the 50-feet mark while winning the competition. The first-year Knight broke a 38-year old program record by triple jumping 15.24m (50’), a distance that leads the NEC by a 60-centimeter margin (nearly 2 feet). O’Garro’s season-opening performance stands 18th nationally amongst Division I leaders and it is 11th best in the NCAA DI East Region.
