The 2018 NEC runner-up hurdled his way to the top of the league leader board during his season-opening performance at the Adidas Winthrop University Invitational. Setting the SFU program record in the process, Jackson won the 110m hurdles final in 13.88s. The winning time, which was 0.13 second better than the previous school record that was set by Jackson, placed the Red Flash senior first amongst automatic IC4A Championships qualifiers. Jackson ranks third on the early-season NCAA Division I East Region performance list, trailing only Florida State’s Trey Cunningham and South Carolina’s Isaiah Moore. Nationally, Jackson’s time stands seventh best amongst DI leaders.
