Nesmith topped a 51-finisher field in the 400m hurdles at William & Mary’s Colonial Relays. The veteran Blue Devil completed the race in 1:01.83 to clip Loyola’s Heather Merrifield for the gold. Nesmith’s winning time, which is more than 1.0 second better than the automatic qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships, moved the Keystone State product into second place on the NEC leader board and into a top-75 spot in the NCAA Division I East Region.
