Sagendorf, who missed the 2018 outdoor season, has improved his standing amongst NEC javelin leaders during each of his three appearances thus far this spring. Sagendorf’s latest effort catapulted the veteran Mountaineer to the top of the conference-wide performance list. Inching closer to the personal record he set at the 2016 Penn Relays (65.65), the Garden State product sent the javelin 64.40m (211’ 3”) to finish first amongst all collegiate entries at the George Mason Spring Invitational. The 64.40m throw gives Sagendorf the No. 31 ranking on the NCAA Division I East Region leader board. The senior sits 16th amongst IC4A Championship qualifiers.
