After winning September NEC Player of the Month plaudits last fall, Cook bookended her freshman campaign with the final NEC Player of the Week accolade of the regular season. The Largo, FL native won the Mount’s lone singles match against Bucknell last Wednesday, knocking off Mishi Papich, 6-2, 4-6, 10-4, in a #4 flight match. Cook also blanked Geneseo’s Nina Lurie, 6-0, 6-0, on Mount Senior Day over the weekend. Cook and Mia Pittman won a pair of #3 doubles matches as well. The freshman ranks second on the Mount with 10 singles wins on the year.
