Werlau led the SHU offensive attack with 10 points in a 1-1 week for the Pioneers. The freshman scored four goals in a setback to Bryant on Friday. The Brewster, NY native then followed that up with five goals and an assist in a 15-9 win over in-state rival CCSU on Saturday. Werlau’s five goals matched SHU’s Division I freshman single-game program record while her six points are tied for the third-most ever scored by a SHU freshman in the program’s Division I era.
