Kuhar, who is ranked 77th nationally by the ITA, is off to an 8-2 start this spring going up against the Bulldogs’ typically challenging slate of competition. Among his notable #1 singles victims were Texas Tech’s Tommy Mylnikov (6-3, 6-0), Wright State and All-Horizon League player Param Pun (6-2, 6-1), Brown’s Peter Litsky (6-3, 6-0), Army’s Myles Conlin (6-2, 7-6 (5) and Xavier’s Brett Winters (6-3, 6-2). He was up a set on Dartmouth’s Charlie Broom - the #34 player in the country - when their match was halted, and also dropped a three-setter to #84 Majed Kilani of Tulsa. Kuhar, the two-time reigning NEC Player of the Year, also posted an 8-2 mark in #1 doubles and upped his season singles record to 15-6. The Smithfield, RI native is a two-time NEC Player of the Month award winner this season.
