WEEK 16 STATS: 2 starts, 23.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 1.5 bpg, .618 FG pct., 0.885 point per minute
At the center of Robert Morris’ back-to-back victories, Ezeigbo averaged a double-double as her team guaranteed itself at least a share of the Northeast Conference crown. The imposing post player was the epitome of efficiency at home against the NEC’s Brooklyn-based contingent. Shooting 62 percent from the floor, Ezeigbo tallied 46 points over 52 minutes of action. The Garden State product, who led the team in scoring during both wins, averaged 23.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per outing. Robert Morris’ starting center recorded 16 points, nine rebounds and two assists while logging 24 turnover-free minutes in a 74-57 triumph over St. Francis Brooklyn. Two days later, Ezeigbo produced the first 20-point performance by a Colonial this season. She poured in 30 points and collected 11 caroms in a 71-54 victory over LIU Brooklyn, accounting for RMU’s highest individual single-game scoring total since alumna Anna Niki Stamolamprou went for 39 points on Jan. 9, 2017. Ezeigbo made 13 two-point field goals and produced a perfect 4-for-4 clip at the free throw line in the win that boosted Robert Morris’ league record to 14-1.
