Smith's second weekly award came after she posted an NEC top-time and earned a gold medal in the 60 meter dash at the Metropolitan Championships for the Knights. She sprinted to an ECAC qualifying mark of 7.54 that was .15 faster than anyone else in the Conference this season. Smith also owns the top long jump in the NEC during the 2018-19 campaign.
