Roush resumed her rookie campaign at the Youngstown State Invitational, finishing in third place amongst collegiate long jumpers. Competing for the first time since the first week of December, the first-year Colonial leapt 5.53m (18’ 2”) to claim fourth overall out of 61 entrants at YSU. The distance, which is six centimeters shy of her seasonal best, is good enough to rank fifth on the NEC leader board. Roush’s latest mark was within seven centimeters of the automatic qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships.
