Eastwood was brilliant in her first collegiate competition, posting the two best NEC times of the season in the 200 breaststroke. Over a span of two weeks that included a tri-meet with Fairfield and Saint Peter's, along with a dual meet against Rhode Island, the New Zealand native totaled five individual first place finishes. She clocked in at 2:21.49 in the 200 breaststroke in the tri-meet before swimming to an even better performance with a 2:20.31 against the Rams. Both times sit atop the Conference in the event, while her victorious finish in the 100 breast also ranks among the top-7 times of the season. Eastwood also delivered wins in the 200 IM (2:11.49) and as part of the 200 medley relay to conclude a memorable start to her run as a Seahawk.
