Thomas helped LIU Brooklyn break into the win column by producing a near double-double against Patriot League member Lafayette. The freshman, who was one of two Blackbirds to score in double figures, contributed 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals to the winning effort. Thomas finished the 55-50 victory as LIU Brooklyn's leading rebounder for the ninth time in the season's first 11 games. Making her ninth start of the year, the New York City product committed only one turnover in 30 minutes of action. She ends the non-conference portion of the schedule ranked amongst the NEC's top-seven leaders in both scoring and rebounding.
