Weaver began her sophomore campaign in record-breaking fashion at the Bucknell Bison Opener. The Red Flash pole vaulter, who set the NEC Indoor Championship meet record as a rookie last winter, cleared 4.00m (13’ 1.5”) to beat out Penn State’s Megan Fry for gold and set the SFU program record in the process. Weaver’s season-opening performance ranks first amongst all ECAC Championship qualifiers and sixth overall on the NCAA DI leader board.
