Competing for the first time as a collegian, Roush leapt to the Northeast Conference lead in the long jump. The Keystone State product jumped 5.59m (18’ 4.25”) at the Youngstown State Icebreaker, coming up one centimeter short of the automatic qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships. The recorded distance placed Roush fifth amongst a crowded field of 48 entrants at YSU. The first-year Colonial, who owns a top-20 ECAC mark, leads RMU teammate Lilly Harnish by two centimeters atop the NEC leader board.
