WEEK 12 STATS: 277 pass yards, 69.6 completion pct., 2 TD passes, TD rush
Parr's clutch execution allowed Duquesne to earn a last-minute, 31-24 title-clinching road win over defending champion Central Connecticut. Closing out his first regular season as the starting signal caller, Parr was responsible for seven third-down conversions during second-half scoring drives at CCSU. The final conversion sent the Dukes to the FCS Playoffs. On 3rd-and-8, Parr connected with Nehari Crawford for a 56-yard scoring strike that broke a 31-31 tie with 00:24 remaining in what was a de facto NEC championship game. Parr finished 23-of-33 passing for 277 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a score. The Sunshine State product converted four third-down situations on the opening drive of the second half, including a 27-yard completion to Kellon Taylor on a 3rd-and-19 from midfield. He capped the drive with a three-yard TD run on 3rd-and-Goal, bumping Duquesne's lead to 28-17. His first touchdown pass, a 23-yard strike to Aidan Cain, tied the game at 14-14 with 10:59 remaining before halftime.
