Donaldson was a driving force behind the defensive effort that held Saint Francis to 182 yards of offense and allowed Sacred Heart to clinch a share of the Northeast Conference crown. With Sacred Heart facing a 7-6 deficit in the third quarter, Donaldson chased down the SFU quarterback and knocked the ball loose. Donalson's second sack of the game, which came on a fourth-down play, denied Saint Francis on a fourth-quarter red zone opportunity and allowed the Pioneers to hold their 13-7 lead with 5:25 remaining. Donalson, who also recorded two quarterback hurries, made two tackles on run defense. He stopped the ball carrier after a two-yard gain on SFU's first play from scrimmage and later dropped him for a five-yard loss on a second-down play in the second quarter.
